French of Martinican origin, life took me through different adventures where I moved to California in 2014. Before that, I worked in Paris as an Assistant Duty Manager for the American Express exchange office for 7 years then Travelex for 4 years. I started this job as a simple cashier and was promoted after a year to the position of Assistant. During these years, I learned to manage a team of 55 people scattered across the currency exchange offices at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, in France. I faced many situations, some of them complex, while meeting the objectives required by society. Even though I loved my job, my real goal was to work in the medical field. Two years before moving to Los Angeles, I developed my skills over many years as a caregiver, I enriched my skills with a relatively varied background in providing individual care to people of all conditions. I was able to see in the context of my work, different situations, some of which remained relatively very complicated such as dementia and Alsheimer's disease... or on the contrary, simple cases just requiring companionship and an attentive ear.. My expertise as a companion with elderly clients most often suffering from physical disabilities such as COPD, cancer, stroke, diabetes as well as bedridden and palliative care clients was able to complete my training, at the same time promoting my skills. With determination, I was finally able to realize my passion which consisted of opening my own Residential Care facility for Elderly. I will never thank all the people who believed in me until today and those who supported me morally in this project which has become an accomplished dream. It will be with a heart full of emotion that I will welcome each of my residents, committing myself to making this establishment a safe place where respect for others will be among the first rules of conduct.
